Food
Friday Night Dinner
The Friday night pizza party has been a resounding success. This will
take place at our base camp of
operations, the tent at Rausch Creek. One ticket is included with your
paid registration. Additional tickets are available in advance for others in
your group. No more having to cook dinner after the first day on the
trail.
Saturday Night Dinner
As with our prior events, we are pleased to offer you another fine catered
dinner for Saturday night's festivities. Remind yourself of the dread of coming
back from a full day of trail riding and having to cook your dinner, more than
likely in the dark. Imagine how nice it would be to come back to camp and have
your dinner prepared for you! Don't miss this opportunity to mix and mingle with
fellow four wheelers. There's nothing like relaxing and listening to the
adventure stories of the day, some true and some slightly exaggerated, but fun
nonetheless.
One dinner ticket for each night will be included with your paid registration. Additional
dinner tickets can be added to your registration: Friday night tickets are
$5.00 for anyone, Saturday night tickets $15.00 per
adult and $10.00 for children ages 5-12. Please note: Additional dinner
tickets will not be available after May 15th due to catering deadlines.
The dinner menu last year included roast pork, chicken cordon bleu, baked ziti,
scalloped potatoes, pasta
salad, tossed salad and beverages (water and soda). The menu has not been
finalized for 2008, stay tuned, hungry wheelers!
Lodging and Accommodations
The vast majority of participants choose to camp at one of the local campgrounds. The center of the activities, NEW THIS YEAR, will be a giant tent at Rausch Creek. They have everything from primitive sites for tenting up to full hook ups if you have an RV. If you prefer, there are several hotels nearby. No camping fees are included in your event registration. You must make your own reservations and payment arrangements with the campground.
Giant Prize Raffle
Immediately following our catered dinner on Saturday evening will be our hugely
famous raffle. Don't miss your opportunity to win one of the many raffle
prizes we have in store for you this year. Last year's raffle was our
biggest yet, and this year the donations are already rolling in, so it promises
to be even better! Many prizes will be offered, including a complete set
of tires and a winch. To see the list of last year's sponsors and preview
this year's sponsors, please be sure to check out the sponsor link pages.
